BASEBALL: Registration closes at 11:59PM on February 1, 2026. Late fees begin February 2, 2026. Players who register after this deadline are considered late and are not guaranteed a registration. NO registrations can be accepted after February 8, 2026.
SOFTBALL: Registration closes at 11:59PM on February 15, 2026. Late fees begin February 16, 2026. Players who register after this deadline are considered late and are not guaranteed a registration. Late registration closes at 11:59PM on February 22, 2026.
General Registration Information
Baseball ages are based on the player’s age as of April 30 of the league year. Softball ages are based on the player's age as of August 31 of the year prior to the league year. Players may request to play up a level but generally may not play down a level. If you feel your player needs to play outside of his/her age bracket due to safety concerns, please contact HBSA. Safety is always the #1 priority when determining if players can play outside their level. It is recommended that T-ballers play three seasons prior to playing up at the 8U level.
Home games and practices are held at the fields within Hummelstown Borough and its immediate surrounding area, including Grace Field, Shope Field, Schaffner (Boro) Park, Mehaffie (West End) Park, and Vulture Field.
All requests will be considered and determined based on individual players and team availability. No requests are guaranteed.
Players from outside Hummelstown Borough interested in playing for HBSA may be required to submit a waiver from their home organization. T-ballers do not need to submit a waiver.
Volunteers are greatly appreciated! Individuals signing up to be a volunteer must submit clearances, per the guidelines found in Coaching Resources. Volunteers who do not have clearances at time of registration may still sign up, however clearances must be submitted to HBSA prior to any volunteer work. Clearances are not required for concession stand volunteers.
